Project – Horizon House Connect 2013-2016

I have seen Judith’s work first hand, and can say without reservation that she has proven herself to be highly dedicated, capable, and adaptable. Over the course of several years, I worked closely with Judith on the creation and operation of a web portal for the residents at Horizon House.

In that time, I regularly saw her thoughtful approach to navigating the inevitable challenges that face a project of this type. She dove in without hesitation on the technical side to put out the best content possible. She skillfully managed budget constraints, identifying the high priority improvements that were key to maintaining daily operations. And she gracefully balanced competing, and sometime contradictory, stakeholder demands, always with an eye towards practical improvement.

I would gladly work with Judith again.

Project – NWCCA Website 2011-2014

I am delighted to recommend Judith Card for any position that values creativity, superb graphic skills, excellent communication and listening abilities and deep integrity.

As Executive Director of the Northwest Center for Creative Aging, I hired Judith to work with me as my Executive Assistant for 3 years. She managed most of the administrative needs for the organization, developing and improving systems that had not been successful in the past. She designed and built a website that finally let us have a presence in the community. The image she created is still attractive and conveys the deeper meaning of who we are and what we do in the community.

Judith also worked with the Philanthropy Department at the senior residence where we were based, helping that department develop processes that streamlined and improved their mission.

She worked closely with community residents, winning their trust and appreciation. She was often able to help them with their technical needs in ways that were effective, something that is not always easy to do with older adults. She helped customize an internal website that kept residents up to date on the many events going, as well as allowing them to share their own communications with each other.

Judith is a fast learner, showing an eagerness to learn the most current technology to not only design effective websites, but to improve existing systems for a wide range of organizational needs.

Project – Films: Channeling Yourself, Nick, A Mother’s Journey, Save My Place 2010-present

I’ve been collaborating with Judith Card for years on a variety of media projects and a feature length documentary film through Pavot Bleu.

The best part about working with Judith is her hard work and infectious good nature raises everyone’s game; time and again I’ve seen others work harder and smarter when they’re with her. I’ve never co-produced projects with anyone who was more solid on follow through, regardless of how complex or multi-faceted the job. Judith is smart and always ready to learn new skills if they’ll enhance a project. She also keeps a VERY cool head in the face of deadlines and difficult people.

I couldn’t have a better business partner and friend.

Project – Website maintenance, Nick, A Mother’s Journey 2015-present evagremmert.com

Judith lives the definition of an entrepreneur. She co-owns a film production company – Pavot Bleu Productions L.L.C. They have created 2 awesome films to promote my book ‘A Time to Dance, a Mother’s Journey to Joy’. Judith is a website developer, an author of an awesome children’s book’ a real estate agent’ and a musician extraordinaire.

I have relied on Judith for the past few years to help me keep my websites in working order.  She has tracked down solutions when hosting updates have caused glitches.  She is awesome to work with and very responsive when I feel I have a crisis with my site.

Project – new website Madrona Services 2021

Thank you SO much for your patience through my creative process. I LOVE it. It makes me smile whenever I see it.

BTW, I am still astounded that you nailed my basic design idea re: tree/heart and landscape on first try. I didn’t even tell you re: headland and the fact that you added it was pure inspiration/intuition on your part. I used to visit a place very similar to your painting frequently when I lived in Port Townsend. It was on Indian Island and it was my special spot.

Thank you for your beautiful art, your web skills and your graciousness.
